Keep Walking...
You continue to walk deeper into the forest, hoping to find your way through. You try to recall the landmarks that Maganwyth had mentioned, but they all seem to blend together in a twisted mess of trees and vines. The further you go, the more lost you become.
As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, the trees loom around you like dark giants, casting long shadows across the forest floor. You feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end as you hear rustling and snapping noises in the underbrush. Every twig that snaps sound like the breaking of a bone, and you imagine all sorts of terrifying creatures hiding in the shadows, waiting to pounce.
As the darkness creeps closer, panic sets in. You realize that you’ve been walking in circles for what feels like hours. The realization hits you like a physical blow, and you feel your heart pounding in your chest. You hear something moving through the undergrowth, and your muscles tense, ready to flee or fight.
Your mind races as you try to remember what Maganwyth had told you to do in case of danger.
Do you try to hide, hoping to avoid whatever is stalking you? Or do you try to run from whatever lurks in the shadows?
